Synopsis
Set in a magical realm, this is the concluding chapter of the Laha trilogy. Years after graduating from magic academy, the talented S-class mage Sally David has become known as the magical world’s only “universal mage” and now serves as headmaster of the Dark Mariszaram Magic Academy. However, her body is being consumed by a curse cast by the entity known as the “Witch of Despair,” leaving her in constant agony. When combat magic instructor Hubert and his assistant Michelle arrive at the academy on behalf of the Magic Church with a mysterious assignment from the magical realm’s highest authority, Sally finds herself drawn into an unexpected mystery. This full-scale magical mystery RPG novel reveals shocking truths and serves as the final installment following “Laha and the Garden of Magic ~the graystory~” and “Laha and the Magic of Reason ~the 2ndstory~.”

Editorial Review
This is a narrative-driven RPG that positions itself as a legacy conclusion—the third installment in a trilogy that’s clearly built significant lore and character investment across prior entries. The magical academy setting is well-trodden ground in visual novel spaces, but the framing here as “the endstory” signals serious narrative ambition rather than a standalone adventure, which will immediately matter to how you approach it.
What distinguishes this work is its commitment to mystery as the primary narrative engine rather than romantic or action-focused progression. Sally David’s dual burden—her status as a legendary “universal mage” and the literal curse consuming her—creates immediate dramatic tension that goes beyond typical academy hierarchies. The arrival of Hubert and Michelle as external investigators introduces a detective structure into what could have been purely introspective character work. The inclusion of a save backup feature and APK distribution indicates a developer prioritizing accessibility and player convenience, practical choices that suggest respect for audience time investment across what’s clearly a substantial narrative.
The musical accompaniment tag signals attention to atmospheric storytelling, which matters significantly for mystery-driven works where pacing and mood directly affect revelation impact. This isn’t a soundtrack-light experience; audio design appears central to the experience.
The trilogy context is both the work’s greatest strength and its most significant barrier. This is unambiguously a capstone meant for readers who’ve completed the previous two installments and invested in the world-building they established. New players arriving here will encounter dense magical lore and character relationships that presume prior knowledge.
Hardcore visual novel players who’ve followed the trilogy from its foundation and crave substantial narrative resolution will find exactly what they’re seeking. For those seeking a standalone magical mystery without trilogy prerequisites, this demands significant prior commitment. The “endstory” positioning is literal—approach accordingly.
