Finding FANZA Works on DLsite — International Buyer’s Guide
If you’ve ever clicked a link to FANZA (DMM’s adult storefront) from outside Japan, you’ve probably hit a region notice instead of the work you wanted. FANZA does not serve customers located outside Japan. The good news: a large share of doujin circles release the same or equivalent works on DLsite, which officially supports international customers. This guide explains the situation and shows you how to track down a FANZA work’s DLsite counterpart.
Why FANZA Doesn’t Work Outside Japan
FANZA is operated by DMM for the Japanese domestic market and restricts access from overseas IP addresses. This is a licensing and policy decision by the store — it is not a technical error on your side, and it applies to browsing as well as purchasing. Henhenta does not cover ways to work around regional restrictions; instead, the practical route for international fans is DLsite, which sells to overseas customers officially through its English storefront.
The Same Circles Publish on Both Stores
Doujin circles typically distribute through multiple stores at once. A work sold on FANZA Doujin very often has a twin listing on DLsite — same content, same creator, sometimes released on the same day. Commercial (non-doujin) titles are less consistent: some publishers are exclusive to one store, so not everything can be found on both.
How to Find the DLsite Version
- Search the circle (creator) name. The most reliable method. Copy the circle name — Japanese text works best — into DLsite’s search, then look through that circle’s work list for the matching title and cover art.
- Search the original title. Paste the Japanese title into DLsite search. Even on the English store, Japanese-language search finds untranslated listings.
- Know your product codes. DLsite doujin works use RJ codes (e.g. RJ01234567). FANZA doujin uses its own d_ codes (e.g. d_123456) — the numbers are unrelated, so you can’t convert one to the other. Match works by title, circle and cover art instead.

What If It’s Not on DLsite?
Some works genuinely are FANZA-exclusive — often commercial titles tied to specific publishers.
