Cthulhu Mythos RPG: The Bloodstained Celestial Maiden Legend

Synopsis

This is the second installment in a retro-style horror RPG series based on Cthulhu mythology. Your sister travels to a remote village in the mountains for her university thesis research, investigating the local “Celestial Maiden Legend.” According to legend, during a famine, a maiden descended from heaven and brought rain, saving the village—now called “Rain Village.” One week after her departure, with no contact from your sister, you and a friend set out to find her and uncover the truth behind the legend. As sunset approaches, a crimson night engulfs the village, and yokai emerge—monstrous creatures including enlarged animals, hungry ghosts, long-necked spirits, rain women, and tengu. Customize your character’s gender, name, profession, abilities, and skills freely. The game features a level inheritance system and optional jump-scare effects that can be toggled on or off.
