Synopsis
Tachibana Akane, a polished career woman and returnee, comes back to the Osaka branch after working abroad.
Working under her in the same department is Ichinose Aoto, a talented young ace with consistently rising performance, unwavering ambition, and infectious positivity. Akane has come to rely on him as a dependable subordinate.
One day, while handling a work crisis together, the two find themselves caught up in urgent matters. After things settle down, they unexpectedly end up going for drinks together after work.
Exhausted and caught off guard, Akane drinks more than usual and loses her composure. The next thing she knows, Aoto has escorted her to her apartment door.
“What kind of face are you making? You’re already beautiful, but when you look like that… how much further do you plan to make me fall for you?”
“Do you hate me?”
Half-drunk and driven by impulse, they share a kiss right at her doorway.
This moment becomes a turning point. Akane, who has always maintained a perfect facade, grows tired of the act. Yet she’s afraid of showing her weakness to others, struggling with her own inability to be honest. Most of all, she’s terrified of how deeply she’s falling for him…

Editorial Review
[Riley’s Pick]
This office romance delves into the deliciously complicated dynamic between a boss and their eager young subordinate, exploring themes of devotion and workplace tension that many readers find compelling. The “devoted partner” angle suggests genuine emotional investment beneath the surface-level power imbalance, which elevates this beyond a simple workplace fantasy. The title’s promise of being “crushed” by unwavering loyalty hints at a protagonist who’s overwhelmed by their subordinate’s intensity—a refreshing reversal of typical domination narratives that could provide interesting character moments.
The explicit content is straightforward and unapologetic, with tags indicating detailed intimate sequences featuring varied activities. The rough language element adds authenticity to the workplace setting and character voices, preventing the work from feeling sanitized or overly polished. This grounded tone should resonate with readers seeking less theatrical, more naturalistic scenarios. The devoted partner dynamic suggests there’s actual chemistry and emotional stakes driving the narrative, which means the intimate scenes serve character development rather than existing in a vacuum.
If you appreciate boss-subordinate romance with genuine affection layered beneath workplace dynamics and don’t shy away from explicit content, this work merits serious consideration on Henhenta.
