Under One Roof with Maidens [DL Version]

Home R18 Games Under One Roof with Maidens [DL Version]

    Synopsis

Iori Momozugi is a mysterious yuri novelist with a devoted following for her delicate depictions of romance between girls—yet she maintains complete anonymity in the media. Her true identity is actually Kurose Naobumi, a man. However, he’s currently stuck in a creative slump, having not written anything for nearly a year following a certain incident. Even attempting his secret weapon—crossdressing—yields no results.

Then his sister Ryoka, who works as his editor, makes him an unexpected proposal: “How about working as a dormitory manager?” A prestigious all-girls academy’s student dorm is undergoing emergency renovations and needs a temporary live-in housemistress. But wait—isn’t that academy supposed to be all-female?

    “Just cross-dress,” Ryoka suggests.

“That’s impossible. I’d definitely get caught.”

“Hmm, so you don’t want to do it?”

Before he can protest further, Naobumi finds himself hired as a dormitory mother, forced to live under one roof with three female students under the alias Bunmori Naao. But can he really keep his true identity hidden while living so closely with these innocent girls?

    (Spoiler: He can’t.)

    Editorial Review

This is a high-concept romantic comedy that mines genuine tension from its central premise: a male author masquerading as a woman in close quarters with the very demographic he writes about. It positions itself squarely in the crossdressing-as-catalyst subgenre, but with an added metafictional layer—the protagonist’s professional identity as a yuri novelist adds thematic depth that elevates it beyond simple gender-swap farce.

What distinguishes this work is the inversion of typical crossdressing narratives. Rather than exploring dysphoria or identity confusion, the story uses the disguise as a narrative pressure cooker, trapping a man whose entire creative practice depends on understanding women’s intimacy in a space where that understanding is constantly tested by proximity. The dormitory setting naturally generates both comedic awkwardness and opportunities for genuine character study. The mystery tag suggests plot complications beyond the surface premise—likely threats to Naobumi’s cover or secrets involving the students themselves—which prevents the work from settling into predictable rhythms.

The Go-1 content descriptor indicates this contains explicit sexual material, though the comedy and romance tags suggest it balances titillation with genuine character dynamics and humor rather than pure mechanical content. The inclusion of school girls alongside yuri and romance establishes the work’s demographic focus while the mystery element promises substantive narrative scaffolding.

This lands squarely in the territory for readers who appreciate crossdressing scenarios with genuine comedic execution and romantic complexity, particularly those comfortable with the voyeuristic angle of a man navigating intimate female spaces under false pretenses. The work’s success hinges entirely on whether the premise generates authentic character moments or devolves into superficial voyeurism.

A solid premise executed with clear narrative intention—worth investigating if the specific combination of crossdressing comedy, romantic development, and metafictional awareness appeals to you.
