Slow Life with Enslaved Princess Knight and Maid

Synopsis

Garland, a mid-level adventurer, is tricked by a senior adventurer into a dangerous quest and suffers a severe injury. Though he survives, with no family or relatives to rely on, his daily life becomes difficult during recovery. As an adventurer at heart, he desperately wants to heal and return to adventuring.

However, having been betrayed by someone he trusted, Garland cannot easily trust others. Moreover, word has spread that he earned a fortune on his last adventure, attracting gold diggers. In his vulnerable state, he cannot afford to rely on untrustworthy people.

Then he hears news that the kingdom has conquered a neighboring nation. He witnesses captives from the defeated country being transported for sale as slaves. Though Garland, as a freedom-loving adventurer, never favored slavery, he realizes that slaves offer absolute obedience to their masters regardless of trust. After much deliberation, he decides to purchase slaves to help with his recovery.
