Synopsis
Set 150 years before the original Busty Fantasy, this tale unfolds during an era when demons and humans coexisted on the Europia continent and the island kingdom of Hilsland across the sea. Since the introduction of currency, financial hardship among demons has grown, and with families and fortunes lost, desperate demons have begun attacking moneylenders. The widening rift between humans and demons has become an administrative crisis.
Ruin Dimidium hails from the rural Dobland Province. At the royal seminary, his nickname was “The Ruin Man”—last in books, poetry, and magic, but top in rhetoric. He’s the sole student who prevented the star seminar from achieving perfect marks across all subjects. However, after angering Archbishop Arhief, he’s reassigned to the remote Boynbara as a military commander rather than a civil administrator.
[Part 1] In the countryside of Boynbara, a gang of orcs led by Drums repeatedly attacks moneylenders. Lord Su Campin and his son, steward Su Pompon, dismiss Ruin as useless. His own men refuse to recognize him as commander and act independently. Yet Ruin begins investigating alone, gathering intelligence in Boynbara and Nynbara until he uncovers the hideout’s location. Through his efforts, the Drums gang is arrested along with their conspirators. His success earns Ruin a promotion to Vice Governor of Dobland Province.
