The series expanded with sequels including “Eiyuu Densetsu II,” “III: White Witch,” “IV: Crimson Drop,” and “V: Song of the Sea’s Cage,” steadily building its fanbase and earning high acclaim as a domestic scenario-driven RPG series. The landmark first installment was reborn in 1997 as the Windows version “Shin Eiyuu Densetsu” (New Legend of Heroes), becoming a major hit.
