◆Synopsis

Kaihara Takumarou, an infamous genius detective, suffers a broken leg in a minor accident and is transported to Nonomura Hospital. The hospital is plagued by dark rumors—medical malpractice, the director’s suicide. There, he’s summoned by Akiko, the director’s widow, who asks: “If I were to ask you to investigate my husband’s death… would you accept?”

Akiko insists the director’s death was neither accident nor suicide, requesting a thorough investigation. Takumarou senses danger but finds himself intrigued by the proposal and accepts the case. As he navigates obstacles from nurses, patients, and rival investigators, he uncovers the truth behind the incident. What fate awaits him at the story’s conclusion?
