Super Real Mahjong LOVE 2~7! for PC

Editorial Review

Super Real Mahjong LOVE sits at the intersection of skill-based gameplay and visual reward mechanics—a niche that has quietly thrived in the adult game space for decades, though rarely with this level of production polish. This PC compilation represents a significant archival effort, consolidating six entries (2-7) into a single uncensored package with full animation support.

The work’s primary distinction is its commitment to animation quality over static CGs. Veteran animator Tanaka Ryo’s character work across 17 heroines emphasizes subtle facial expressions—bashful glances, genuine smiles—rather than exaggerated fantasy designs. This restraint is notable in a market saturated with hyperrealistic or grotesque aesthetics. The removal of censorship from previous home console ports is functionally important here; the “undressing” reward sequences are integrated directly into mahjong wins rather than obscured by editing artifacts, preserving narrative continuity between gameplay stakes and visual payoff.

The inclusion of a prologue comic by mangaka MARUTA adds interpretive depth, positioning this as more than pure reward animation. The multi-device control scheme (mouse, keyboard, touch panel) signals genuine porting effort rather than lazy emulation. However, the synopsis offers no detail on mahjong rule variants, difficulty scaling, or whether gameplay depth extends beyond the reward mechanics—a significant omission for evaluating replayability.

This package appeals specifically to players seeking mahjong as genuine gameplay rather than pretext, who value animation consistency over shock value, and who appreciate restored versions of technically compromised console releases. The 15+ age recommendation is anomalous for the content descriptor and warrants skepticism.

A competent preservation project that respects its source material’s craft, though the absence of gameplay innovation details leaves questions about whether the collection justifies multiple playthroughs beyond completion collection.
