Cecil, born from a union of human and magical creature in the Marshall Kingdom’s research lab, was subjected to inhumane experiments without parental love, treated as a monster. His heart twisted by torment, Cecil massacred the researchers with terrible power and fled to the Calvart Kingdom on the Midgard continent. Unable to live normally, he turned to thievery for three years until caught by knights. There, the renowned sage Delas took him in, raising him alongside his beloved daughter Sphere as a foster son.
Years passed. As Cecil came of age, he planned to propose to Sphere, with whom he shared mutual affection. But suddenly, an allied nation betrayed them, plunging Calvart into war. Cecil fought desperately for his country and to protect his lover Sphere. However, against the overwhelming forces of the enemy nation Garland, he was powerless. Both Delas and Sphere were executed—but not before Sphere was brutally violated until her mind broke.
