Synopsis
“Perhaps I was searching for spring.” “Perhaps I was looking for love.”
Aoha Kazami continues working as the school nurse at Ayaka Girls’ Academy into the second semester, having stayed longer than originally planned. Shirobana, his former traveling companion, works as his assistant, but they have ended their cohabitation at the hot spring inn Shikisainosato where they once lived together. Having sent off his sister happily, Aoha now walks a path for himself rather than for her sake. Shirobana, understanding this better than anyone, has decided to step back and watch over him from a distance—just as Aoha’s sister Yumeka once did.
Autumn is the season of school events, with a field trip to the lavender fields and an inter-school festival approaching. As time passes busily, a new rumor is added to the academy’s seven mysteries: demons appear at night, and they’ve been damaging the school grounds. Believing this to be the work of a soul-person, Aoha investigates the demon rumors as a sender. He’ll be joined by Otohime, the school doctor and both a reliable work colleague and drinking buddy.
The flower language of sakura is: an outstandingly beautiful woman. And purity.
