Synopsis

Kenji, the second of three brothers, was always seen by his mother Sakura as the least troublesome child. However, one spring, circumstances change dramatically. His older brother moves out for work, his younger brother enters a boarding school, and their father is transferred for work alone. Suddenly, Kenji and Sakura find themselves living as just the two of them in a house that was once so lively.

The sudden quietness leaves Sakura feeling a sense of loss. Noticing his mother’s melancholy state, Kenji feels frustration and emptiness as his mother’s attention turns to his brothers. Consumed by these emotions, he becomes determined to monopolize his mother’s affection entirely.
