Synopsis

Kenji, the second of three brothers, finds himself in an unexpected situation. When his older brother moves out for work, his younger brother enters a boarding school, and his father begins commuting from afar, Kenji and his mother Sakie are left alone in their now-quiet childhood home.

Sakie feels a sense of loss as the bustling household suddenly becomes silent. Noticing his mother’s loneliness, Kenji feels resentment at always being overlooked in favor of his siblings. Driven by a desire to monopolize his mother’s affection, he begins to blur the lines between them.
