Synopsis
◆Game Overview
A novel-style RPG where you control the protagonist Joff and experience life in his village after returning from a solo posting assignment.
Every weekend when he comes home, he encounters events and can use a special ability (phantom vision) to peek into his wife’s life in the village.
Even with unreasonable NTR scenarios, the story emphasizes character motivations and believable development.
The narrative reaches 3 different endings based on your final player choice.
190+ base CGs / 170+ H events (viewable in gallery mode)
Recollections carry over after clearing, so events you miss on your first playthrough can be seen on subsequent playthroughs. (Post-game allows week-skipping and marks viewed events)
◆Synopsis
Joff works at a solo posting in the city. His recent concern: despite their relationship being good, their intimate life has stalled.
One day he returns home to learn his wife Mira has taken a job at a tavern.
Worried about her working around so many men, Joff becomes anxious.
Then, through a certain incident, he witnesses strange phantom visions at the tavern.
What appears before him are scenes of Mira being teased by customers.
Watching his wife being touched by other men fills Joff with both discomfort and an unexpected excitement.
That’s right. This was the form of a secret desire he’d hidden all along…

Editorial Review
In by Side occupies the increasingly crowded intersection of NTR and domestic anxiety, but distinguishes itself through mechanical agency and narrative scaffolding rather than pure degradation fantasy. The core hook—using phantom vision to surveil your wife’s offscreen interactions—transforms passive voyeurism into an active, choice-driven experience, a design philosophy that elevates this above the typical wife-corruption visual novel formula.
What sets this work apart is its stated commitment to character motivation and “believable development” within admittedly unreasonable scenarios. That’s a deliberate narrative tension: the game acknowledges the inherent implausibility of its premise while asking you to engage with why Joff doesn’t simply forbid Mira’s tavern work, or why she pursues it despite his obvious discomfort. The three-branch ending structure suggests genuine consequence rather than cosmetic choice, and the 190+ CGs with 170+ H-events indicate production depth that rewards multiple playthroughs. The post-game recollection system with week-skipping is a thoughtful inclusion for players who want to experience branching content without replaying exposition.
The tag combination—public exposure plus roleplay plus voyeurism—indicates this explores exhibitionist dimensions alongside the NTR core, potentially appealing to players interested in fantasy scenarios rooted in power dynamics rather than purely humiliating scenarios. The housewife angle and emphasis on a “good relationship” that’s merely stalled suggests this tilts toward the anxious-arousal end of the spectrum rather than outright cuckoldry fetishization.
This will resonate most with players who want narrative justification for their fantasy and don’t mind mechanical interactivity breaking up their visual novel pacing. The phantom vision mechanic specifically appeals to those interested in agency within submission scenarios. Solid choice-driven NTR that respects both its premise and its players’ intelligence.
