[ENG Ver.] Portal Insect R*pe

Editorial Review

★3.2 / 5 — henhenta editorial rating (our own assessment, not the DLsite official user score)

Positioned in the niche of monster and insect-themed non-consensual fantasy, this ten-page short sits at the extreme end of the adult doujinshi landscape, where the Contains Grotesqueness tag signals content aimed at a narrow, self-selecting readership. Short appreciation pieces like this are common in the scene, usually as a creator’s thank-you to their audience, and they tend to favor a single concept over plot development.

The concept here is the hook: the portal mechanism is a hand mirror that shows the target’s lower body to whoever holds it. It is a tidy, easily understood device that justifies the premise in a single image, which suits a manga this short. The creator also includes an upfront warning for readers squeamish about insects, an honest and useful piece of framing that tells you the work will not soften its subject. The release is practical, too. It comes as JPEG pages plus a PDF, and the English-language edition makes it accessible to international readers who usually have to wait on fan translation for work in this vein.

With only ten pages and a minimal synopsis, expect a compact, concept-driven piece rather than a developed story or character study. What you are evaluating is the execution of one idea and the creator’s comfort with the grotesque, not narrative depth.

This will mostly appeal to readers who already seek out insect and creature-themed dark fantasy, who know the content going in, and who value a short, focused read over a long one. For everyone else, the creator’s own warning is the best advice. Verdict: a brief, uncompromising niche piece that delivers exactly what its tags promise, for the audience that wants it and no one else.
