[ENG Ver.] Let’s Take A Walk! ~Preparations Edition~

Editorial Review

★3.7 / 5 — henhenta editorial rating (our own assessment, not the DLsite official user score)

This work occupies a deliberately absurdist corner of the English-translated doujin market, built entirely on a linguistic joke that transforms innocent vocabulary into innuendo. The premise—a world where “osanpo” (walk) and “ochinpo” (dick) are conflated through phonetic similarity—is the kind of conceptual humor that appeals to readers who appreciate comedic framing devices over sustained narrative tension. In the landscape of comedic adult manga, this leans toward the playful and conceptually driven rather than dramatically intense.

What distinguishes this release is its commitment to the bit across a full twelve-page format. Rather than abandoning the wordplay midway through to pivot toward conventional storytelling, the work appears to sustain the premise as its organizing logic—the girls genuinely believe they’re proposing recreational walks, creating a layer of dramatic irony that fuels the sexual content. The JPEG and PDF formats suggest clean reproduction from the original Comiket 94 printing, maintaining the photocopier aesthetic that often carries nostalgic value in doujin communities. The English localization is a deliberate choice that either enhances or undermines the Japanese linguistic premise depending on how faithfully the translators preserved the pun’s architecture.

This will resonate most with readers who prize comedic setup and clever misdirection as essential elements of their adult manga experience—those who want their eroticism seasoned with genuine humor rather than deployed straightforwardly. Audiences seeking dramatic characterization or psychological complexity should look elsewhere; this is intentionally lightweight conceptual comedy.

A sharp, committed execution of a single clever idea that justifies its page count through comedic discipline rather than padding.
