Ritsu is a low-ranking demon of the third hierarchy who deeply admires Satan, the demon lord and hierarchy ruler. He trains diligently and fulfills his duties without fail.

At an exchange meeting, he catches the attention of Shiki from the seventh hierarchy. Though initially dissatisfied with how he’s treated, Ritsu gradually grows accustomed to Shiki’s presence over time.

As he befriends demons from other hierarchies, Ritsu finds himself in an increasingly comfortable environment, and his days become fulfilling.

Time passes…

Low-ranking demons of the third hierarchy begin mysteriously becoming reclusive one after another, leaving Ritsu swamped with work.
