■Story

Tomohiro, an unremarkable college student, and Yayoi, a shrine maiden who lives at a nearby shrine with her mother, have been childhood friends.

They’ve never particularly seen each other as the opposite sex, and are as close as real siblings. This relationship has continued even now that they’ve both grown into adults.

One day, Tomohiro receives a panicked call from Yayoi and rushes to the shrine, only to find her mother Satsuki injured and collapsed.

Since Yayoi comes from a single-parent household, her mother Satsuki, worried about leaving her daughter alone while hospitalized, asks Tomohiro to move into the shrine and look after Yayoi.

Tomohiro, who has always been unable to refuse requests, accepts the offer—partly due to his nature, and partly because he’s genuinely worried about Yayoi.

Thus begins their unexpected cohabitation. As they live together, Tomohiro discovers a hidden side of Yayoi he never knew existed—
