Synopsis
Summary
A simple 2D ryona action game about a nun dispatched to rid a cursed land of terrifying monsters.
Though this is an old-style action game, there’s a good deal of emphasis placed on creating an atmosphere of despair and death.
* This is the “Lite Version” of “SiNiSistar” (RJ247641), released in 2019.
Some content has been cut (including postgame bonuses).
Character
Rabiane (CV: Haru Amachi)
A nun dispatched to the city of Kessaria, where monsters rampage unchecked.
She makes her base within a ruined church and ventures out to destroy the creatures at their source.
She also has a huge chest.
Actions
Rabiane can use both a sword and a bow. The sword is quick and easy to use, but has a short reach, and the bow is rather hard to aim despite its long range. Make the most of both weapons to beat each stage!
Monsters
There are different types of monsters wandering around, but all will attack Rabiane on sight.
Many monsters have unique attack animations.
Stages
Features dark, depressing environments rendered with impressive pixel art. From deep forests to dank sewers, the “Lite Version” of Rabiane’s quest will see her traveling through six different stages!
(Does not include the bonus postgame content from the standard R18 version.)

Editorial Review
SiNiSistar Lite Version occupies a niche corner of the adult action game market where ryona (pleasure from being harmed) aesthetics merge with old-school arcade sensibilities. It’s a deliberate throwback to 8-bit and 16-bit action design, stripped of modern quality-of-life conveniences and paired with atmospheric dread rather than empowerment fantasy.
What distinguishes this work is its commitment to despair as a core aesthetic rather than a wrapper around titillation. The nun protagonist Rabiane isn’t a power fantasy—she’s a vulnerable figure dispatched into a nightmare landscape where every encounter feels like a losing battle. The dual-weapon system (sword versus bow, each with purposeful trade-offs between speed and range) forces player decision-making within deliberately constrained toolsets, amplifying tension rather than offering mastery. The emphasis on unique monster attack animations signals that the developer understands ryona appeal operates through specificity: players here want to see how each creature threatens the character, not merely experience damage numbers.
The grotesqueness tag combined with music and application tags suggests atmospheric design where sound design and visual presentation work toward cumulative unease rather than shock value alone. This isn’t gratuitous—it’s architectural. The “dark, depressing” stage design mentioned in the synopsis indicates environmental storytelling that compounds the narrative of a nun fighting a losing war against an overwhelming curse.
The Lite Version caveat matters: postgame content cuts mean this is a leaner experience, potentially streamlined for focused engagement rather than completionist depth.
Hardcore ryona enthusiasts and action game players drawn to melancholic, deliberately punishing design will find something rare here—a work that treats its despair as thematic substance rather than narrative seasoning.
