Sneaking into her father’s study, Luciette happens upon a strange creature.

She names it “Giigi” and thus begins their life together.

Unable to communicate with words, Luciette is perplexed by the inexplicable actions that Giigi takes. but as they spend more and more time together, the two slowly bridge the gap between them.

One day, however… after an extended trip away, Luciette’s father returns home.

Luciette is worried that she will be admonished for taking the creature out of his study, but for some reason, nothing happens at all.

Has he not realized? Or perhaps he doesn’t actually care?

“I want to properly discuss this with father. That I want to become friends with Giigi…”

she contemplates to herself and finally makes a decision.

After which Luciette promptly seeks out her father, who has once again left the house to go somewhere.

Pelted by the rain, feelings of anticipation… and anxiety… swell within her heart——
