So Village

Synopsis

So Village (Somura) is rumored to be the birthplace of Shikimi Miyama’s grandmother. The village is inhabited by sorcerers and mages, protected by barriers that prevent ordinary people from reaching it. Moreover, there are legends of demons appearing on Mount K where So Village is located.

One day, after discovering her lover’s infidelity and exacting punishment, Shikimi Miyama decides to visit So Village.

Note: “So” in So Village carries multiple meanings—curse/hex (呪詛), sorcerer, and references to traditional folklore.

• We recommend playing in this order: Senri → Koni → Tokiwa. The text and artwork were created in this sequence, with branching choices designed accordingly.

• Windows application format. After downloading, extract the zip file and open “somura2021.exe” from the folder. Music will play, so watch your volume.

• The demo version starts by opening “somura_sample.exe.” It contains content up until the first choice (approximately 10-15 minutes). No changes were made in the full version, so players of the demo can skip ahead to the first choice without issue.

• The config menu cannot be accessed from the title screen. To adjust text speed or volume, start the game and select “Config” in the lower right corner.
