Invaded

Editorial Review

★3.2 / 5 — henhenta editorial rating (our own assessment, not the DLsite official user score)

Invaded sits in the defeat-scenario corner of CG-driven adult comics, where a “heroes fail and face the consequences” premise gets paired with the streamer and virtual-personality characters that have become a steady fixture in recent doujin output. The synopsis frames the story around those who “failed to protect earth,” so the emphasis is on the aftermath of losing rather than on a drawn-out buildup.

What distinguishes this release is its practical packaging. At 28 pages in CG-comic format, it’s a compact read, and the “with & without text” option, backed by the Alingual tag, gives readers a choice between the dialogue version and a cleaner, wordless one. That is a thoughtful touch in a market where English-language options are often an afterthought, and it suits a premise that likely leans on visuals and atmosphere over dense plotting. The PDF format and English-language product also mean no localization hurdles. The synopsis is thin and the tags offer little detail on characters or specific content, so how well the art handles the concept is the real question. CG comics vary widely in polish, and readers should expect the appeal to rest on rendering quality and pacing rather than narrative depth.

Invaded is best suited to readers who enjoy invasion and defeat-themed scenarios, have an interest in the VTuber-flavored character space, and prefer quick, image-forward CG comics to long-form storytelling.

For a short, flexible-format take on a niche premise, Invaded delivers exactly what its blunt synopsis promises, nothing more and nothing less.
