Priest Conception Game Version – Full Voice LIVE2D Interspecies BL Simulation Game

Editorial Review

Priest Conception occupies an interesting niche within the BL simulation game market: a developer-driven expansion of existing 801 anime IP into a full voice-acted Live2D experience. This positions it as a remake-adjacent project rather than a standalone title, which has clear implications for both its appeal and potential audience overlap.

The interspecies romance angle paired with slime/tentacle-focused content represents a deliberate pivot away from humanoid-centric BL conventions. The live2D implementation combined with full voice acting suggests production values above the typical doujin game baseline, though the developer’s candid framing—requesting feedback on video recording methodology—signals this is exploratory work rather than a AAA-equivalent production. That transparency is refreshing, if slightly unusual in marketing copy.

The explicit content boundaries merit attention. By eliminating “pleasure corruption” narratives and rape-turned-consensual arcs while committing to happy endings, the work stakes out ethical territory increasingly rare in interspecies adult games. The emphasis on consent-positive progressions through the slime/tentacle content appeals directly to players seeking adult fantasy without predatory dynamics. The absence of body horror elements (no blood, gore, or insect aesthetics) further narrows the niche—this targets BL enthusiasts interested in otherworldly romance, not cosmic horror fans or hardcore monster-content seekers.

The dual release strategy (game plus 150-minute video version) acknowledges that not all audiences engage with interactive media identically, expanding accessibility beyond simulation game players.

This works best for BL readers specifically invested in nonhuman partner dynamics, full-voice production, and Live2D aesthetics who actively avoid corruption or coercion narratives. The simulation game format demands engagement; passive consumption is available but secondary.

A technically ambitious doujin project that prioritizes ethical worldbuilding alongside adult fantasy spectacle—niche, but genuinely committed to its premise.
