A mysterious mechanical kaleidoscope that Shizune discovers in a storehouse… When peered through, past scenes come into view.

Night after night, enchanted by these visions, Shizune realizes the kaleidoscope is connected to the Thousand-Year Sky Fox from tales—a fox with eight tails and a thousand lives.

But this realization also threatens to expose the gentle illusion cast upon the Amanomori household…

Hōsei Butterfly and Shiki Dragon. The battle between the heavenly and earthly gods has ended, and Shizune’s omens have ceased.
