Shizuku is the only daughter and shrine maiden of a shrine built deep in a remote mountain village. Earnest and devoted to meeting her parents’ expectations, she practices dance daily and performs purification rituals each early morning.
One day, a prophecy warns that disaster will befall the village. By unanimous agreement of the villagers, Shizuku is chosen as the sacrificial shrine maiden. Unable to accept this decision, she protests fiercely to her father and the villagers, but her pleas fall on deaf ears.
The ritual’s content: “Engage in sexual acts with the deity from noon until midnight.”
Shizuku, outraged by such absurdity and convinced her years of dedication were not for this, resolves to escape from the sealed shrine.
Desperate to maintain her barrier and find a way out, she searches frantically. However, as time passes, the barrier begins to collapse, and an ominous presence fills the air.
■SYSTEM
□Puzzle Solving
• To escape the sealed shrine, Shizuku must solve puzzles in sequence. Solving all puzzles allows escape. However, there is a time limit—failing to solve puzzles within the time limit results in a bad ending.
• Investigating the shrine interior is necessary to solve puzzles. However, examining objects decreases concentration needed to maintain the barrier, causing the deity to appear sooner. Some puzzles can be solved quickly but consume stamina.
□Time Progression
• The game starts at noon and ends at midnight.
• The flower UI displayed in the upper left represents remaining time. Red petals fall as time passes.
• When all petals fall, you receive a bad ending.
□Chase Sequence
• When the barrier breaks, Akachigo appears and pursues Shizuku.
• Being caught triggers an event scene and sends you to a specific location.
• To escape Akachigo, you must reestablish barriers found on the map by selecting those marked with circle icons.
