Synopsis

At a school with a traditional “Nude School Week” event, sheltered rich girl Sumire unexpectedly becomes the committee chairperson without knowing what she’s getting into. However, the reality proves to be nothing but shame and humiliation.

The “Nude School Week” – a tradition at Japan’s First Academy dating back to the Edo period. Students spend an entire week completely nude, supposedly to strengthen their minds and bodies, build resilience, and develop communication and problem-solving skills through adversity. Graduates of this program have achieved remarkable success worldwide, making this unusual tradition a testament to the school’s elite status.

However, the event’s continuation was reaching a breaking point. Administrative support, police cooperation, and community participation were essential, but modern times brought weakened community ties, deteriorating public safety, and the rise of smartphones and wearable devices enabled sexual harassment and voyeurism during Nude School Week.

The solution: the “Nude School Week Executive Committee.” Committee members bear responsibility for the event’s safe execution, sacrificing themselves through any necessary means.

This year, Sumire Shinomiya volunteers as committee chairperson for her family and brother. Upon winning the election, she discovers that the committee is merely a convenient scapegoat system—a sacrificial offering to appease the public, a school-sanctioned tool for abuse.

A volunteer student organization dedicated to the smooth and safe implementation of Nude School Week. Primary duties include public relations and maintaining order during the event. Only those approved by school leadership, external committees, and citizens through nomination elections may serve.
