The deep sea is beautiful. A mysterious world unfolds that only divers can understand.

Despite the dangers lurking below and the suffocating fear of being consumed, there exists a world that satisfies curiosity.

Did you know fish sometimes attack humans?

You’ve likely heard of sharks in the ocean and piranhas in rivers as fish that attack people.

But lesser known is that males and females are attacked differently.

Males are simply predated upon as food.

However, females become hosts for reproduction. In biological terms, this behavior is called “fish rape (gyokan).”

The scientific mechanism of fish rape remains unknown. Some theories suggest that the fitted lines of a diving suit stimulate sea creatures, or that the love juices secreted from a woman’s genitals diffuse into the sea, and creatures detect the scent. But considering all living beings, including humans, originated from the sea, perhaps it’s not so strange.

There’s no denying that the female genitalia evolved from abalone, with the squirting function being a remnant of that origin.

So how exactly does fish rape occur?

When a woman is attacked by fish, most often fish genitalia are inserted into her vagina.

Particularly [fish name] and shark genitalia are enormous, and if inserted into a human woman, she stands no chance. She struggles in the water and dies from oxygen depletion.

Octopuses and squid use powerful suction cups to capture women and engage in intercourse slowly. Of course, the woman ultimately dies from oxygen depletion.

Even small fish shouldn’t be underestimated. Annually, around 150 female divers die from being raped by small fish.
