Synopsis
“On June 7th at exactly noon, Asou Akumi dies in a traffic accident at the station plaza.”
On the morning of June 4th, Shoutou Okiomi discovers an unfamiliar notebook on his desk.
There is only a single line written in it, but the handwriting looks oddly familiar.
In fact, it’s his own handwriting.
Feeling uneasy, Okiomi heads to the station plaza on June 7th, half-skeptical of what he read—only to witness Akumi being struck by a car.
As if in sync with his presence, the notebook begins to fade away.
Okiomi suddenly realizes: could this notebook travel from the future to the past? Desperately, he writes something in the fading notebook—a phrase that would convince his past self of its authenticity.
He writes it so his past self can save Akumi from her fate this time.
The notebook turns to particles of light and vanishes—
Time rewinds.
June 4th.
There is an unfamiliar notebook in Okiomi’s room…
Can Okiomi use this mysterious notebook to avert Akumi’s predetermined death?
This is the story of just 4 days—

RABBIT-GARDEN presents their completely original doujin game, 2.5th installment!
Download version now available!
This work focuses on “gameplay mechanics.”
Your goal is to skillfully use the notebook to prevent Akumi’s death.
However, this mysterious notebook has several rules:
1. Once something is written, it cannot be erased by any means
2. Each person can use a maximum of 4 pages
3. Written text can only be read by the person who wrote it
4. The notebook disappears after 10 loops or when the owner’s writable pages are completely filled on the next use
Progressing through 4 days, players must navigate these rules.
The game itself has quite high difficulty, so here are some strategy points!
Point 1: The protagonist’s memory is NOT looping
As a player, you loop multiple times and know what results follow from certain actions.
However, the protagonist has no memory—he cannot possibly know. He can only know what’s written in the notebook.

Editorial Review
Four Revolve For Relief positions itself squarely in the time-loop mystery subgenre that’s gained traction in visual novels over the past five years, but distinguishes itself through a specific mechanic: the notebook functions as both plot device and player agency. Rather than relying on typical branching dialogue choices, the puzzle and mystery tags suggest gameplay centered on deduction and written communication across temporal iterations—a structure less common in the space.
The premise hinges on a clean temporal paradox: Okiomi receives a notebook from his future self attempting to prevent a predetermined death, then must become that future self by writing instructions for his past iteration. This creates an elegant loop structure that naturally generates multiple endings through variation in what gets written and when. The occult framing elevates it beyond straightforward sci-fi—the “particles of light” dissolution hint at supernatural mechanics rather than hard time-travel logic, which likely complicates Okiomi’s ability to predict outcomes. The serious and suspense tags confirm this isn’t played for comedy; the work appears invested in the weight of determinism versus free will, with Akumi’s fate as the existential anchor.
RABBIT-GARDEN’s choice to make the protagonist’s own handwriting a recognition element is deliberately unsettling—it forces early-game uncertainty about whether Okiomi should trust evidence that appears to come from himself. The original tag and the self-contained nature of the premise suggest this isn’t drawing from established franchises, which may appeal to players fatigued by derivative time-loop narratives.
This work will most satisfy players who enjoy puzzle-solving integrated with narrative stakes and appreciate visual novels that treat temporal mechanics as a serious thematic question rather than convenient plot scaffolding.
A time-loop mystery that makes the notebook—and the act of writing itself—the real puzzle to solve.
