Synopsis

A magical civilization that emerged in a small elvish nation at the center of the Midgard continent eventually spread across the entire landmass over hundreds of years, subjugating thousands of races and giving birth to Asgard, a colossal magical civilization state. The thousand-year empire of Asgard, said to have even dominated the realm of gods, entered a period of rapid decline after reaching its zenith two thousand years ago. After a hundred-year gap shrouded in silence by all historical records and ancient documents, the elves vanished from the continent. Following two thousand years of confusion, Midgard is now ruled by five human kings who inherited the remnants of magical civilization. Each of the five kings harbors ambitions, claiming to be the rightful successor to Asgard, and rises to unify the Midgard continent. Thus begins the age of the Five Kingdoms conflict described in historical records.

A Valkyrie warrior named Alice, dispatched by the Vanaheim Agency, infiltrates Hermuz Castle in the imperial capital of Helheim. There, she discovers that the evil sorcerer Loki is scheming to resurrect ancient magical civilization. She corners Loki on the verge of capturing him, but a magically-created Cyclops beast interferes, allowing him to escape. Subsequently, Alice infiltrates Muslum Castle, the capital of Muspelheim, even disguising herself as a slave, but finds herself walking into an elaborate trap set by Loki.
