■STORY

Humanity has expanded into space, colonizing planets across the solar system. In the outer reaches, a space pirate fleet clashes with the space military. The notorious Hawkins Pirate Gang faces off against a military fleet in a 10-versus-10 naval battle. The military force is commanded by Colonel Emina, an accomplished female officer with superior strategy and tactics.

The pirates are decisively defeated, and the military closes in on Hawkins’ flagship. But then 40 enemy reinforcement ships appear. Long-range beam attacks force the military to retreat, and Colonel Emina orders a withdrawal. She positions her new battleship Shiva as the rear guard to allow her fleet to escape safely.

Emina pushes the Shiva to maximum speed, fleeing into the Forest Belt—a cursed region where asteroids cluster and no one returns. Even space pirates avoid it, warned of ghost ships and certain doom.

Once the pirates are gone, Emina attempts to escape the region, but the Shiva’s engines fail. Repair is impossible without parts. Then radar picks up a signal—the exploration vessel Chronos, which departed Earth 80 years ago.

Emina hails the ship but receives no response. She orders her crew to board and salvage parts. But what awaits them inside is a nightmare of unspeakable depravity they never could have imagined.
