Synopsis

The previous case involving detective Jiro Tanaka and the shrinking people has been resolved. Through the director’s manipulation of history, the abuse and massacres of the miniature humans have been erased from official records.

However, those involved still retain clear memories of what transpired.

Heroine Nao Oki remains gigantified and works as an investigator. Though she feels embarrassment about her new size, she’s confused by an inexplicable sense of joy she can’t fully understand. She misses working alongside Jiro Tanaka, which happens less frequently now.

Assigned to investigate suspicious smuggling activity in a coastal region, she travels to Hampane Island but suddenly goes missing.
