Synopsis

It’s been a week since summer break ended.

The lingering summer heat persists, but the days have grown noticeably shorter.

After school.

In the classroom of Class 1-A at Hibarigaoka High School, only I and Takahiro Manabe remain.

Everyone else—those heading to club activities and those in the go-home club alike—has left. Now it’s just the two of us.

In the silent classroom, I sit at my desk, glaring intently at Manabe before me. He’s casually straddling his chair, his long legs crossed, eyes fixed on a handwritten script.

Tall, handsome. He frequently skips class and is chronically late.
