My Yukiho Can’t Be This Scandalous [Floralight]

Editorial Review

★3.2 / 5 — henhenta editorial rating (our own assessment, not the DLsite official user score)

The iDOLM@STER doujin visual novel space has long thrived on intimate character fantasies paired with established IP affection, and *My Yukiho Can’t Be This Scandalous* positions itself as a straightforward continuation of that formula rather than an innovator within it. As the fifth installment in a dedicated Yukiho series, it’s optimized for returning fans rather than newcomers seeking to understand why this particular idol matters beyond her character design.

What distinguishes this entry is its structural commitment to the scandal-avoidance mechanic as narrative scaffolding. Rather than treating the relationship as a destination, Floralight frames dating Yukiho as a resource management puzzle—the producer must navigate public spaces while maintaining secrecy, which creates genuine stakes even in traditionally static visual novel pacing. The scenario variety is solid: hot spring intimacy, beach encounters, festival romance, and explicit maid roleplay all provide contextual costume changes that justify the 450+ CG variations. The curvy tag suggests character design choices that differentiate Yukiho from the franchise’s standard proportions, though the synopsis doesn’t elaborate on whether this is an established character trait or a doujin-specific reinterpretation. The “sweet” designation paired with 12 H-scenes indicates an attempt to balance romantic character moments with explicit content rather than pure mechanical gratification.

The romance tag feels functional rather than thematic—progression hinges on your decisions, but whether this means meaningful branching or surface-level choice illusion depends entirely on execution, which the synopsis doesn’t clarify. Production appears competent given the CG count, though visual novel art quality remains highly subjective.

This is a work for existing Yukiho devotees or players comfortable with established-character wish-fulfillment narratives who appreciate the scandal-evasion framing as light gameplay substance. Newcomers to the franchise should understand they’re entering mid-series without context.
