Synopsis
“MAGNETISM” is a puzzle game where you control characters to move blocks, clearing them or repositioning them to target locations.
Blocks inherently possess magnetic properties. When faces of the same color touch, they repel and move apart. When faces of different colors touch, they bond together and disappear after a set time.
By utilizing these properties, clear each stage by achieving your objective within a limited number of moves.
There are two game modes: Fusion Mode, where you clear all blocks on the stage, and Repulsion Mode, where you move blocks to target positions. Each mode contains 40 stages.
Once you clear all stages, you unlock the Edit feature, allowing you to create your own custom stages.
Editorial Review
MAGNETISM occupies an unusual niche: a physics-based puzzle game dressed in furry aesthetics. The puzzle mechanics themselves are solid and well-established in the mobile gaming space—magnetic attraction and repulsion creating block-clearing and block-positioning challenges. What’s distinctive here is the deliberate marriage of cerebral puzzle design with animal ears and beast transformation appeal, a pairing that remains genuinely rare in the indie puzzle genre, where mechanical innovation typically occurs in aesthetic isolation.
The dual-mode structure provides meaningful variety. Fusion Mode’s disappearing-block objective contrasts cleanly with Repulsion Mode’s spatial positioning demands, and eighty combined stages suggest reasonable depth without bloat. The move-limit constraint adds tension that transforms simple “solve it any way” puzzles into optimized-solution challenges. The custom stage editor unlocking after completion acknowledges the puzzle enthusiast audience—the kind of player who wants to both solve and create.
Production-wise, the 3D visuals and the integration of furry character design into what could have been a generic puzzle frame indicate deliberate thematic commitment rather than tacked-on aesthetics. The beast transformation tag suggests narrative or visual progression tied to gameplay, though the synopsis remains vague on execution details.
The core appeal here splits neatly: puzzle players seeking mechanically sound challenges with a furry wrapper, and furry enthusiasts willing to engage seriously with puzzle gameplay as vehicle for character interaction. Success depends entirely on whether the magnetic block physics feel responsive and logical under pressure, and whether the progression curve respects both newcomers and optimization-obsessed solvers.
For players who appreciate puzzle depth without demanding mainstream accessibility, and who don’t view furry theming as a dealbreaker, MAGNETISM’s substantive stage count and creation tools justify engagement. This is genre competence meeting niche appeal—not innovative, but focused and intentional.
