Synopsis
◆Story
“What if… what if I became an alpaca, would Kazuma still love me…?”
Kazuma Saeki, the protagonist, is a popular student living an enviable school life surrounded by his girlfriend and many friends.
One day, returning from Alpaca Kingdom with his girlfriend Yukari Izumi on a bus, Kazuma wakes from a nap. When he glances at the seat beside him, he sees an adorable alpaca sitting there.
“…Wait, EEEEEEEEEEEHHHHHHH?!”
Yukari has vanished, replaced by a fluffy, woolly alpaca occupying the bus seat.
“W-what’s wrong, Kazuma? Why did you suddenly shout…?”
The alpaca gazes at him curiously—speaking in Yukari’s unmistakable voice.
And so begins an unexpected summer of memories spent with an alpaca.

Editorial Review
Paco Plus occupies a genuinely unusual niche within the beast girl visual novel ecosystem—it’s a romantic comedy that takes the premise of animal transformation literally, then mines comedy from the protagonist’s genuine bewilderment rather than playing it straight as fetish fodder. Most works in this space lean into the eroticism of the hybrid form; this one appears more interested in absurdist relationship drama, asking the central question of whether love survives when your girlfriend becomes a camelid.
The distinctive hook here is the specificity of the transformation itself. An alpaca isn’t a wolf or cat or generic “beast girl”—it’s a deliberately unglamorous, comedic animal choice that signals the work’s tonal commitment to humor over conventional sexualization. The combination of school uniform aesthetics with maid roles and thigh-highs suggests visual appeal remains part of the package, but paired with beast transformation and comedy tags, this creates an unusual tonal cocktail rarely seen in the adult game space. The presence of a composed theme song and credited animation team (including a composer and lyricist) indicates genuine production value beyond the typical doujin baseline.
The narrative framework—a summer spent navigating a relationship fundamentally altered by an inexplicable transformation—has genuine dramatic potential beneath the absurdist surface. This isn’t merely a fetish fantasy but a scenario demanding actual character development and emotional stakes.
Paco Plus will appeal most to players seeking comedy-first experiences who’ve grown bored with conventional beast girl tropes and appreciate works willing to commit to uncomfortable, illogical premises as their actual foundation rather than window dressing. The romantic core remains intact, but the road there is deliberately obstructed by one very fuzzy alpaca.
A rare comedy that weaponizes transformation against romance itself—uncommonly committed to its own absurdity.
