Synopsis

The Kaaii Araame—an organization dedicated to investigating and eliminating youkai.

Uraha, a female warrior from this organization, and her ninja companion stop by a roadside teahouse along their route for both investigation and rest.

The teahouse has a poster girl who runs the shop solo, and business is thriving. However, due to the ninja’s carelessness, the poster girl’s true identity is revealed—she’s actually a man.

Upon hearing the story, it turns out the poster girl is a twin sister who has been caring for their ailing parents full-time.

Fearing a loss of customers, the twin brother Shouma has been cross-dressing to take advantage of their identical appearance. Now that his identity is exposed and the shop’s reputation is in ruins, Shouma laments that even if his sister returns, the shop is finished.

Seeing his despair, Uraha the warrior maiden is at a loss. The ninja suggests finding something else to make the shop appealing.
