Synopsis
The continent of Seltuana was once bathed in the blessings of spirits and magical mystery. However, 200 years ago, the discovery of fossil fuels and their refinement changed everything. Magic, limited to the few who could wield it, rapidly faded from civilization.
Approximately 150 years ago, conflict erupted between the Fulakia Empire—the continent’s dominant power—and the Seltuana Union, born from the Empire’s long interference. This war would span 150 years, with both sides forgetting its original cause. As mechanical civilization accelerated, war machines called Drachen appeared on the battlefield, intensifying the conflict.
150 years later, two extraordinary geniuses emerged: Anastasia, Knight Commander of the Fulakia Empire, and Daneth, Supreme Commander of the Seltuana Union’s frontlines. Both elf officers, grieved by the endless bloodshed, decided to pursue peace talks following the death of the warmongering Fulakia Emperor. The neutral Guild Federation territory of Alraune was chosen as the meeting place.
Before the one-month conference, Anastasia and Daneth travel to Alraune with several Drachen. But they are unaware of the Guild Federation’s true identity—the shadow puppeteers of the war. And waiting for them in Alraune is a man who once suffered devastating defeat at Anastasia’s hands, only to be stripped of his commanding position by Daneth. A trap has been laid.
