Synopsis

☆STORY☆

In a grand mansion lived a girl with loving parents. The girl’s frail health kept her confined to her room, leaving her without friends.

Touched by her loneliness, her parents gave her a glass rabbit as a gift. When placed by the window, it sparkled beautifully in the sunlight and moonlight.

The girl was overjoyed and spoke to the rabbit every day. It became her first friend.

Before long, the rabbit began to move and speak. But this miracle was their secret alone—the girl knew that adults dismiss such impossibilities, so she never told her parents.

One night, the girl slipped from her bed while the mansion slept and gazed up at the sky. For days, clouds had obscured the heavens; the moon and stars had vanished.

“I wish I could see the stars,” she whispered with a sigh.

The rabbit wanted to grant her wish. Opening its mouth, it spoke:

“Hey, open the window. I’ll fly through the sky, pierce the clouds, and collect the stars for you.”
