Karneval: The Strange Tales of Umeshiro Village

Synopsis

Umeshiro Village—a settlement abandoned over 40 years ago.

Within it lies an ancient ritual passed down through generations.

A reporter sent to cover the village has vanished without a trace.

Freelance writer Toochika Sora accepts a request to search for the missing journalist while gathering material for an article.

However…

X Town, the closest settlement to Umeshiro Village. The townspeople’s behavior seems distinctly odd. It apparently relates to the ancient “ritual” of the village, but no matter how much Sora asks, they refuse to speak.

Eventually, with only vague information to go on, Sora reunites with the missing reporter’s cousin and finally sets foot into the village.

A village that should be empty. Crumbling abandoned houses. A decaying graveyard. While exploring these eerie ruins, Sora witnesses a shocking sight!

Tonight, the sealed village’s “ritual” begins…
