Erotic Quest: Guided Desires [DreamFactory]

Editorial Review

★2.8 / 5 — henhenta editorial rating (our own assessment, not the DLsite official user score)

This is a fan-fiction doujin leveraging Dragon Quest IV’s recognizable cast to deliver a structured episodic narrative centered on coercive fantasy scenarios—a increasingly common approach in adult visual novel adaptations that trades original worldbuilding for established IP recognition. The drug-as-plot-device framing positions this squarely within the forced/non-consent subgenre, where external circumstances rather than character agency drive sexual escalation.

What distinguishes this work is its serialized short-story structure spanning ten episodes rather than a single prolonged scenario. This format allows DreamFactory to explore different character pairings and power dynamics systematically: the setup with Blue’s hidden potion functions as a narrative engine that permits progression from discovery through collective corruption. The inclusion of both visual (73 images with variations) and text-based content suggests an attempt to balance illustration-heavy presentation with narrative depth, though the modest image count indicates this leans more heavily toward written erotica than visual novel standards typically demand. The monster girl tag appears selectively applied—likely referring to specific episodes rather than pervasive content.

The rough sex emphasis combined with group sex scenarios and the thematic focus on loss of control positions this toward readers seeking escalation narratives with minimal consent frameworks. The party-wide spread mechanic creates a scenario where characters corrupt one another, appealing specifically to fans interested in corruption arcs and inter-character power shifts.

This work will resonate most strongly with players who prioritize canonical character familiarity and coercion-based fantasy over original narrative premises. For those seeking a substantial adult game experience with complex mechanics or branching paths, the modest image library and episodic short-story format will feel thin. For fans of Dragon Quest seeking transgressive fan fiction with structured progression through recognizable characters, this delivers exactly that formula.

A solid fan-service piece for a specific audience segment, unremarkable outside that frame.
