Synopsis

~ Story ~

“Don’t you ever wish you could stop time?”

“I don’t.”

Takao Kanata’s day always begins with this exchange.

Takao Kanata is an otherwise average 17-year-old first-year high school student, except for one thing: he’s repeated a year due to an “accident.” His days are mundane—waking his sister up every morning, rushing to school at the last minute, attending classes alongside her, making idle conversation with classmates… living an utterly ordinary life.

Incidentally, his sister Haruka has a habit of saying “I wish I could stop time” (so I could sleep more).

One day, he unexpectedly comes into possession of a pocket watch—a watch that can manipulate time itself.

—I want to protect those dear to me

—I want to surpass my great father

—I want to atone for my sins

When the watch encounters people harboring such secret wishes, it begins to glow.
