Catgirl Training (PC ver.)

Editorial Review

★3.2 / 5 — henhenta editorial rating (our own assessment, not the DLsite official user score)

Catgirl Training sits in the small, tidy corner of the adult game space where kemonomimi fantasy meets light BDSM, delivered as a compact illustrated short-story pairing rather than a sprawling, stat-driven adventure. The “Adventure” and “Application” tags suggest a standalone, lightly interactive program, which keeps it closer to an illustrated vignette collection than to the long-form visual novels that dominate the genre.

What distinguishes it is its structure. Two short stories, “Shopping” and “Punishment,” give the pacing a deliberate, bite-sized rhythm, and the contrast between them is the hook. One is a public outing that goes awry in a way the Professor clearly didn’t plan for. The other is an indoor scenario built on the consequences of Oneko-chan getting into trouble, with the light BDSM tag signaling a restrained approach rather than anything extreme. The unnamed Professor keeps the focus on Oneko-chan and on the power dynamic between the two, and the English tag means it arrives natively accessible, which is still not a given in this market. Note that the Windows build duplicates the content of the separate Mac release, so there’s no need to hunt down both.

Expect brevity, not depth. The appeal here is atmosphere and dynamic, not branching plots or long character arcs.

Readers who enjoy catgirl settings, owner-and-pet role dynamics, and gentle, low-intensity BDSM themes in a quick, English-ready package will find the most to like.

Verdict: a short, focused indulgence for fans of the niche, best treated as an appetizer rather than a full meal.
