My College Fuck Buddy Became My Neighbor

This falls squarely into the rekindled-affair subgenre that’s experienced steady popularity in adult manga over the past few years—a notch above the standard cheating narrative because it layers in the specific friction of past intimacy colliding with present domestic commitment. The premise itself is deliberately engineered to maximize dramatic and erotic tension: a wife relocates due to her husband’s job transfer only to discover her college-era casual partner now lives next door. It’s a high-concept setup that works precisely because the inciting incident requires no contrivance.

What distinguishes this work is its focus on the wife’s psychological position rather than simply depicting infidelity from an external viewpoint. The synopsis hints at a character study examining how Yamaguchikoha(r)u navigates the collision between two versions of her own history—the liberated college self and the married self—through proximity to someone who literally embodies that past. The neighbor relationship adds a spatial claustrophobia that complicates any potential affair; the stakes of discovery escalate when temptation lives one door away.

At 88 pages, this has enough runway to develop relationship dynamics beyond mechanical content. The JPEG format and manga presentation suggest clean, legible art suitable for sustained character work, which is essential when the appeal hinges on observing psychological unraveling as much as physical encounter.

Readers drawn to netorare (NTR) frameworks with genuine character complexity rather than pure humiliation, or those who prefer the emotional architecture of infidelity narratives where the wife’s agency and conflicted desire matter, will find this considerably more engaging than straightforward cheating fantasies. For audiences seeking voyeurism wrapped in relationship psychology, this delivers the rare combination of accessible premise and emotional depth.

A smart exploitation of familiar territory through psychological specificity.
