Synopsis
This is a remake of “DUAL DESIRES: Erosion,” the first installment in the original manga series DUAL DESIRES. Due to significant stylistic differences in the original, all pages have been completely redrawn with enhanced character designs and visual intensity.
The story follows Otone Futaba, who discovers a mysterious spell book that grants wishes. However, the incantation actually unseals a demon’s power. While her desires are fulfilled, the demon’s influence corrupts and distorts her sexuality, driving her to pursue a physical relationship with her best friend through hermaphroditic transformation. The corruption spreads, consuming their relationship.
Contents include a 36-page monochrome manga (33 pages of story) plus 17 bonus CG illustrations, cover art, and an included illustration collection “MONOCHROME DESIRES” featuring rubber suit artwork. English version included. Note: Some content overlaps with previous releases.

Editorial Review
Dual Desires: Erosion Remake positions itself as a corruption-focused transformation narrative within the original character fantasy space—increasingly common territory in doujin manga, but executed here through the specific lens of wish-fulfillment-as-curse. The premise of a sealed demonic power corrupting desire itself rather than simply amplifying it offers thematic texture beyond standard possession narratives, though the subgenre remains firmly within established adult manga conventions.
What distinguishes this remake is its deliberate production recalibration. The creator has substantially redrawn the entire 33-page narrative to refine character appeal and visual consistency, addressing what they identify as significant stylistic drift in the original work. This kind of comprehensive visual overhaul is uncommon in the doujin space, where remakes typically involve selective page updates. The inclusion of the supplementary Monochrome Desires illustration collection—17 additional CGs plus 5 cover pieces—frames this as a expanded edition rather than a simple revision, offering both manga and gallery content. The ふたなり (futanari) transformation mechanic serves as the physical manifestation of corruption, making it inseparable from the psychological erosion narrative rather than decorative.
The dual-language presentation (Japanese with English translation, though with noted minor variations) suggests an international audience consideration that’s become standard for higher-production doujin releases. The monochrome illustration book acts as supplementary character study, depicting scenarios outside the manga’s core narrative.
Target audience: readers invested in corruption-through-transformation narratives who prioritize consistent character design and thematic coherence over shock value, and collectors who appreciate production completeness.
A competently executed corruption narrative elevated by deliberate visual refinement and substantial supplementary material—solid execution within its niche, though not groundbreaking thematically.
