Synopsis

You’ve inherited a small factory with just 6 employees.

How much to charge. How many to produce. Where to place whom. There aren’t many decisions to make. Once you’ve decided, you press the button. A month passes, and the settlement report comes back.

It contains only the results of what you decided last month. Written in red or deep green. There’s no space for excuses.

Your competitors are improving quality while you hesitate. Last year’s best-selling products are already obsolete this year. Raise salaries and people stay; don’t raise them and they leave. It’s all obvious stuff. And because it’s obvious, it hits harder.

When you stack up the settlement reports, that pile becomes your management itself.
