    Editorial Review

★3.8 / 5 — henhenta editorial rating (our own assessment, not the DLsite official user score)

Fantasy-adventure dark-themed doujinshi has become a crowded corner of the adult manga space, and Submissive Queen 2 slots into it as a sequel built on captivity, rescue, and a villain’s scheming rather than on pure vignette. The R-15 rating is a notable choice in a market that usually pushes toward the explicit, and it suggests the emphasis falls on atmosphere, peril, and domination dynamics more than on graphic payoff.

What distinguishes the book is its cast and setup. The story pairs a missing queen, Leina, with her sister Elina, who charges into a swamp witch’s castle on a rescue mission. Werbellia is written as a sadistic schemer who enjoys her captive’s suffering, and the revelation that the monkey sovereign Seiten has been invited as a guest implies a trap in which the heroine’s rescue attempt is already part of the villain’s design. That kind of “everything was planned” structure is a staple of the genre, but it gives the plot more momentum than a bare setup would. Production is solid for a doujin release: 28 pages of full-color manga and illustration, with JPEG and PDF versions and both Japanese and English text. The bilingual packaging makes it unusually accessible to international readers.

Readers who enjoy sword-and-sorcery settings, scheming female antagonists, and sibling-in-peril storylines, and who want a softer R-15 treatment, will get the most from it. Anyone who hasn’t read the first volume should expect to join the story midstream.

Verdict: a compact, polished full-color fantasy trap story that offers clear stakes and a memorable villain setup in a short package.
