Ritsu, meeting you for the first time, is fascinated by your presence. As peaceful moments accumulate at the Oboro lantern, she gradually opens her heart and grows closer to you. On a rainy evening, you visit the lantern as usual. While spending a calm time with Ritsu, the rain outside intensifies. Though not quite preventing your departure, Ritsu persuades you to stay the night at the Oboro lantern.
This work features five tracks showcasing different ear-cleaning scenarios: bamboo picks, finger techniques, fluffy tail brushing, and intimate ear caressing—each designed to provide ultimate relaxation and comfort. Featuring voice performance by Nemurima Rima as Ritsu, character design by Yuzuliha, and produced by Meltyshape. All tracks 1-5 are available on the official YouTube channel.

Editorial Review
Ritsu the Fox joins the crowded but enduringly popular ASMR romance niche, positioning itself as a direct sequel that deepens an established relationship dynamic rather than starting fresh. The premise—a fox spirit gradually warming to the listener across multiple visits, culminating in a rain-delayed overnight stay—mirrors the slow-burn intimacy trends dominating Japanese voice work right now, where emotional bonding precedes and often outweighs explicit content.
What distinguishes this sequel is its deliberate focus on tactile variety within a single comfort scenario. The five tracks showcase different ear-cleaning implements—bamboo picks, fingers, tail, gentle brushing—each designed to isolate distinct ASMR sensations rather than relying on a single gimmick. The zero-distance whispering track, in particular, signals awareness of the submissive listener positioning popular in contemporary romance ASMR, where the character’s vulnerability (things “she can’t usually say”) becomes the emotional anchor. Voice performer Nemurima Rima’s established character work across both volumes suggests consistent vocal performance quality, a practical selling point for sequel listeners already invested in her delivery style and tonal choices.
The production credits—character design by Yuzu, direction by Meltyshape—indicate a team-driven approach rather than solo creator work, which typically correlates with higher production polish in the doujin space. The fact that five tracks are publicly available on YouTube before purchase is a notable transparency move, letting listeners verify audio quality and performance chemistry before committing.
This sequel appeals specifically to ASMR enthusiasts already emotionally invested in Ritsu’s character arc and listeners seeking comfort-forward voice work that treats intimacy as gradual emotional reciprocation. For followers of the original, this is a worthwhile deepening; for newcomers, the premise benefits from prior context.
A competent sequel that earns loyalty through consistent execution rather than innovation.
