Girls Encyclopedia Collection 2

Editorial Review

★4.2 / 5 — henhenta editorial rating (our own assessment, not the DLsite official user score)

Girls Encyclopedia Collection 2 operates squarely in the established territory of anthology-style adult CG collections—a format that remains reliably popular on DLsite despite market saturation. What distinguishes this work is its commitment to variety without sacrificing production depth: five distinct character archetypes (maid, nurse, schoolgirl, bunny girl, fantasy fairy) each anchored by dedicated narrative premises rather than generic scenarios, paired with substantial visual content across standing illustrations and mini CG sequences.

The structural approach here—base artwork plus differentiated variations (speechless, full nude, English captions)—reflects professional collection design. The 144-page total from ten base pages per character leverages systematic variation without the padding that plagues weaker anthology work. The inclusion of animated GIFs (13 pieces split between finalized and sketch versions) adds tactile appeal for collectors who value motion, while the bonus rough artwork from March-April offers process-oriented content that justifies extended value. The bilingual captioning option signals attention to international DLsite consumers, though PDF support remains Japanese-language only—a minor accessibility limitation in an otherwise thoughtfully assembled package.

The specific character premises—overnight hospital urban legend scenarios, corrupt family lineage situations, nightclub VIP encounters, and parasitic flora encounters—suggest thematic coherence beyond simple costume application. This separates the work from purely visual collections that lack narrative scaffolding.

Ideal for collectors who prize comprehensive character coverage and systematic variation over novelty, and who appreciate both finished CG and developmental sketch materials. The fantasy setting inclusion (the fairy premise) adds tonal flexibility beyond mundane occupational archetypes.

A competently executed anthology that respects collector expectations through substantial page counts and purposeful differentiation across its five featured characters.
