[Jordan’s Pick]
If you’re looking for a fun, lighthearted BL romp that doesn’t take itself too seriously, this doujinshi hits the sweet spot. The premise is delightfully straightforward: an exchange student finds himself in a playful power dynamic with his host family’s Japanese guy, and hijinks naturally ensue.
What makes this work charming is its comedic approach to the “training” premise. Rather than heavy-handed drama, you get witty banter and escalating situations that keep things entertaining. The blonde-versus-black-hair dynamic is a classic visual pairing that creates nice contrast on the page, and the exchange student angle adds a fun fish-out-of-water element to the relationship development.
The massage elements suggest there’s plenty of intimate physical interaction woven throughout, handled with that perfect balance of suggestiveness and humor that keeps readers smiling rather than cringing. The comedy tag suggests the author knows how to pace their scenes with levity, making this accessible even if you’re not deep into doujin culture.
This is the kind of work that celebrates chemistry and playful teasing over angst, making it ideal for readers who want their BL with a side of genuine laughs. Whether you’re new to doujinshi or a seasoned fan, the straightforward premise and comedic execution make it easy to jump into.
